Welcome and congratulations!

I am a clinically licensed social worker currently providing virtual mental health services. After receiving my Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Troy University in 1994, I worked for several years in the helping profession and then went on to receive my Master of Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2010. My clinical experience includes working with convicted felons and their families as a Correctional Counselor, families experiencing domestic violence and child maltreatment as a Child Abuse Investigator, children experiencing school difficulties as a result of abuse, household transition, or autism as a School Social Worker, and as a Clinical Counselor specializing in issues inherent to military families.

During my almost ten years of counseling experience, I have also served a diverse group of clients with the following concerns: childhood neglect and trauma, relationship conflict, anxiety and depression, inter-generational dysfunction, domestic violence and/or sexual assault. In addition, I teach therapeutic strategies for overcoming poor boundaries and codependency. Relationship partners, whether self-identified as monogamous, consenting non-monogamous, polyamorous, or LGBTQ+,  are provided with evidence-based interventions to assist them in working through conflicts in a healthier way. My therapeutic approach is catered to you and your treatment needs as I am skilled in several treatment modalities.

I look forward to assisting you in reaching your therapeutic treatment goals in a safe and non-judgmental environment. Please contact me for a 20-minute telephone consultation.
